Throughout this body of investigations, my scope was broad and philosophical in nature. Although philosophical questioning is fundamental to consciousness, it is always, and by necessity, colored by the social environments we inhabit and our frame of reference rooted in them. Experimentation, humor and horseplay were approaches to reflections on freedom, determinism and individual agency as seen from various cultural perspectives. With the recognition of visual art as language, these works exude a high level of theatricality.
